“ALOHA is very proud to announce the opening of its 100th center here in the US. But
for the continued support and encouragement of our franchisees, students, parents
and teachers this would not have been possible and I would like to thank each and
every one of you.THANK YOU!
Franchisees work hard in upholding the quality of ALOHA program. It is due to their
continuous contribution that ALOHA is growing at such a fast pace.
Our franchisees and their staff constantly share their thoughts and ideas to improve
the curriculum, training and enhance teaching methodologies. I would like to
recognize their hard work and passion in building our organization by maintaining the
highest quality of service. Thank you.
I would like to thank all ALOHA graduates who, as it were, “The success stories of
ALOHA.” It is them who motivate our students to give it all they have. Thank you!
Dedicated parents always bring successful children, which is evident in our students,
my sincere thanks to all parents. |

Ms. Rama |
The director of the first location, Ms.Rama who has been
operating the center for the past 4 years shares her
thoughts and experience.
Establishing the first location of ALOHA was both
challenging and rewarding at the same time. Adherence to
quality and ensuring every student receives the benefit of
this program has been our goal from the day one and
continues to be till today. Though operating an ALOHA
center requires a large amount of time and effort, it
provides great personal satisfaction and growth. You also
get the benefit of being part of the ever growing ALOHA
team, meet equally passionate people and share their
experiences. It can’t be any more rewarding.
It is greatly satisfying to see the benefits of the program as
we hear from parents how their child has moved up a grade
or two in Math or joined an honors program. For some
children, it is their overall school performance is improving;
how a student with difficulty in focusing, has become more
independent in finishing their schoolwork. I am very proud
to see our parents become ambassadors for our program. |

We are very excited and proud to sign the 100th
franchise of ALOHA and our third center. We have been
operating ALOHA for over 2 years and we opened our
first location, Ashburn, VA in Feb 2008 and we were
very happy with the training and support from
Corporate ALOHA. Being one of the initial franchised
locations, our confidence in the program and the
franchise quadrupled as we saw students’ performance
in the concept and its rippling effect in their academics.
This inspired us to extend our reach to the community
by adding another location, South Riding, VA in Feb
2009. We received an overwhelming response from
parents and it was a very successful launch. As parents
realize the benefits of the program as they graduate, we
expect the retention to be good going forward.
As young women entrepreneurs, we find that being
self-employed gives us a certain amount of freedom
and more flexibility in our daily lives. I'm able to spend enough time with my family and at the same time run my business
successfully. As a small business, we ran into so many challenges to make it successful, now we have two centers in
Northern Virginia. We are very much looking forward to open the new center in Herndon. We are very positive that the
Herndon center will do extremely good with our experience with the previous two centers. |
ALOHA DAY

Every year, the ALOHA Day
enables all franchisees,
students and parents come
together as an annual meet as a
part of a grand event.
It is a day long event with
competition, variety shows for
children, recognizing teachers
and franchisees, student
graduation and award
ceremony. Students from
across centers compete against
each other in the Math
Olympiad. Students start
preparing for the competition
3-4 months prior to the event.
In 2007/08, the Olympiad ended
with some interesting and
exciting tie breakers amongst
the students for declaring
winners.
Last couple of years we pushed
the limits by doubling the
number of questions to 100 for
5 minutes, & the students rose
to the challenge. Nonetheless
we had tiebreakers as many
kids attended 100 problems in 5
minutes. The practice session prior to the
Olympiad has been very helpful
in boosting children
confidence level immensel
and they tackle advance leve
much easily.
For the year 2011, we are
planning the ALOHA Day as a
day event in a 72,000 sq fee
state-of-the-art facility with new
exciting shows and programs
We expect 2000 kids to
participate in the Olympiad an
expect 25,000 people attendin
the event. |
